Hello, writing friends,

After much upheaval in my life these past months, I've finally sat down to go over the edits for my book THE PIRATE'S LADY. Hopefully, those will be done by the end of the weekend.
Three months ago, my husband and I became the "parents" of two rescue dogs, both Chi mixes. Our whole married life (41 years!) we've always had big dogs--Dobermans, so we're not used to these 10-pound babies that are spring-loaded and get underfoot. Their names are Jasmine and Esmeralda -- Jazzy and Ezzy, for short.
I tell you this because I won't be going anywhere for the 4th of July weekend because Ezzy is showing signs of fear with the sound of firecrackers. We bought her a Thunder Shirt. We hope it works.
So, that's where I'll be this Independence Day -- doing what I love -- writing.

Happy Fourth, Everyone!

Hello, writing friends.

Just got word that I will be getting my galleys to edit for my Sc-Fi hot romance in the next week or two. The book is titled CONCEPTUAL and the story is set in a future dystopian world (with a lot of s-e-x!)

I've always been fascinated with the future even though I love to write in all centuries. (It depends on how extensive the research would be.) But ever since Stephen King's The Stand and books of that sort, I've been equally fascinated about the dark future and the constant battle of good vs. evil.

So, I'll ask you, fellow writers. What is it that fascinates you? What do you love to write, or wish you could write? Drop me a line and let me know.

'Til then, Happy Independence Day! May freedom ring!
